Ed McCarthy

Ed McCarthy is DAZN’s Chief Operating Officer. Ed joined the business in 2020 from Access Industries, where he oversaw some of its key European portfolio companies in the technology and media sectors. Upon joining DAZN, Ed was responsible for resetting the business during the Covid pandemic. Today, he oversees all corporate activity including DAZN’s investments in StatsPerform, Goal.com and Meadowlark, and new ventures, such as DAZN’s recent acquisition of Eleven Sports. Earlier in his career, he worked as an attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP before expanding to a more commercial role with Prudential UK as Director of Corporate Transactions.
