- The eSkootr Championship strikes global broadcast deal with DAZN, the leading global sports streaming platform
- Deal will see the eSkootr Championship live and on-demand content available across the DAZN platform as part of the broadcaster’s free offer
- Content will be available across all DAZN global markets
LONDON, 22 July 2024 – DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, can today announce a five year global broadcast partnership with the eSkootr Championship, the world’s first micromobility racing series.
Under this global multi-territory agreement, DAZN will broadcast the innovative Championship to audiences across their global markets. With rapidly growing interest in motorsport across the globe, DAZN look forward to introducing fans – old and new – to this exciting new racing series.
By leveraging unrivalled global reach and industry leading technology, DAZN is the only pure-play sports platform in the position to bring this content to a global audience. eSC’s content, which will comprise of both live and on-demand broadcasting, will live in DAZN’s free on-platform environment meaning that the championship will be more accessible than ever before with fans in over 200 territories able to view the series at no cost.
After a successful first European season in 2022, the eSkootr Championship is going global in the 2024/25 season with six races taking place across three continents. Rooted in a commitment to sustainable technological advancement and aimed at a younger, urban audience, eSC is a dynamic racing series built for the future of sports entertainment.
It is this view to the future which represents DAZN and eSkootr’ shared ambitions.
