DAZN TO DISTRIBUTE TENNIS TV IN LATIN AMERICA, BRAZIL AND CARIBBEAN

London, 24 June 2024 – DAZN, the leading global sports entertainment platform, and ATP Media, can today announce a partnership which will see Tennis TV, ATP Media’s direct-to-consumer service, distributed as a stand-alone channel on the DAZN platform across Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean. This deal will offer tennis fans across these regions another way to access action from the ATP Tour via Tennis TV, featuring the biggest names in men’s tennis, from the most iconic venues in the game.

DAZN’s world-leading digital technology enables the platform to deliver Tennis TV’s huge array of live and on-demand content in ways which create more and better access for tennis fans in the region. As the only truly global pure-play sports platform, DAZN is uniquely positioned to provide a breadth and depth of choice and Tennis TV will represent a deepening of DAZN’s existing rights within the sport. The arrival of ATP Tour matches will complement a long-standing and extensive portfolio of WTA live and VOD content.

As part of the partnership, DAZN will provide local language distribution – an entirely new addition to the Tennis TV offering. The localisation of Tennis TV to Portuguese and Latin American Spanish will extend to all key live and select on-demand content featuring the ATP Tour’s biggest names, from over 60 different tournaments a year.

Fans will be able to purchase Tennis TV as a standalone subscription on DAZN giving them access to live matches, full match replays, classic matches, highlights, and real-time score updates as well as a wealth of other video content.

Tennis TV will join the likes of NFL Game Pass, PGA Tour Pass, Rally TV and FIBA’s Courtside 1891 as a standalone add-on channel within the DAZN platform. All these products are available as a standalone product. As DAZN continues to build out its media services division, it is utilising its industry leading proprietary tech stack to provide D2C streaming services for rights holders and bring these products to existing and new audiences.

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group said: “The launch of Tennis TV on DAZN offers fans across Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean the choice, accessibility, and flexibility they want with new and exclusive ways to follow the action from the ATP Tour. DAZN is committed to building a platform that delivers on growth potential by fully engaging international fans.”

“The addition of Tennis TV to the platform represents a significant addition to our tech-led DAZN Channels business. The ATP Tour is one of the most iconic properties in world sport, so to be able to use DAZN’s technology, distribution and marketing capabilities to broaden the reach of this premium product and deliver thrilling tennis to existing tennis fans and reach new ones, is a fantastic opportunity for DAZN and ATP Media.”

Stuart Taylor, Director of Consumer Streaming at ATP Media said: ““We are extremely excited to partner with DAZN to distribute this localised version of Tennis TV to tennis fans in this region. ATP Media prides itself on streaming innovation and partnering with DAZN is a perfect fit for the service and will help further elevate the ATP Tour in these markets. From Rio to Santiago and Cordoba to Buenos Aires, fans now have another way to stream all ATP Tour tournaments live and on demand and re-live classic matches.”

Alongside the localisation of content, local language customer support will also be available to all customers in addition to pricing representative of each market and currency.
